AMBAR FEED MILL

AMBAR Feed Mill is the largest and most advanced feed mill in Israel.

The mill started production in 1961, as a regional enterprise belonging to the Granot settlements, 39 kibbutzim and the so called moshavim shitufiim, in the central part of the country.
Since then the list of owners increased, and in addition to the Granot group it includes now the settlements of Harei Yehudah, Negev, and the South,

The feeds are produced now in two sites, one is Ambar North in the Granot Industrial Area, the second is Ambar South close to kibbutz Dvir.

Ambar produces feeds for broilers, turkeys, layers, breeders, fish, geese, dairy cows, cattle, sheep, every type of farm livestock.

 In addition to the standard products for each of these species, the mill produces special feeds according to customer requirements.

Ambar has its own premix plant and supplies vitamins and protein concentrates in the local market and for export.

Besides the activities related to feed production Ambar is part of other companies related to this type of business:

full ownership of five feeding centers for dairy cows,      

      partial ownership of the companies Ramit and Efrat, dealing with the production and 

      supply of  turkeys   and heavy breeders, 

      partial ownership of the company Cornish, dealing with processing of turkeys and  broilers.

High standards of quality, as part of the food chain, and service dedication to the customers have placed Ambar  as the leader feed mill in Israel.
